tele~vision

I don't really care for watching t.v. I'd rather read, research info online, listen to music, take a walk on the beach or take a hike on Mohonk Mountain. It's good to just chill & relax, but I don't like to waste time...like if someone asks, "What t.v. shows do you like to watch?" I reply, "Any that don't waste my time". Time which is precious to me, b/c it's my time...I watch t.v. shows on really rare occasions. They have to spark some interest otherwise, just not interested. There are only a few that I like. Felicity is good, I could relate to Felicity & her relationship troubles with Ben, Scott Speedman (that & I just stare at him on screen). Scott is my absolute favorite actor ever...yummy-yum-yum! I'll post his picture shortly, he is not a well-known actor if you don't already know of him from Felicity or the movies Duets, My Life Without Me or Underworld. The show doesn't air anymore but the re-runs are on every eve at 7pm on the Oxygen channel, of course I would know. Then there's Sex & the City, just so funny especially that Samantha! Kim Catrell plays such a great part in this show, they actually all do great. Will & Grace, is also funny and reminds me of my friend Derick & I...we are Will & Grace, we just haven't moved in together! Summerland, is family oriented and there's the surfer's & beach thing going on...just hot & One Tree Hill reminds me of high school in a way. They actually air some good 'hit home' shows....I can relate to Brooke's character, she's fierce!

Today I took time out of my precious day, and watched the movie The Mexican with Brad Pitt & Julia Roberts. I rather go to the movies, but since today was a 'chill-day' I decided to watch it. I've seen it before & I really have to like a movie to see it again...kind of like going out w/a guy on a date....what?! Anyways, this is the movie where I got "Time Out" from!! Brad is my second fave actor, especially in my fave-movie-of-all-time, Legends of the Fall. I do enjoy all of his movies and I can't wait to go & see the one coming out in a few weeks, Mr. & Mrs. Smith....I'm so glad he is hanging out with Angelina Jolie (sorry Jen) they seem like a better fit that's all. I think he got bored & I don't think he will w/Angelina...Ang might get bored w/him though, we'll see...So this movie, The Mexican is cute, funny, endearing, and has all these real parts to it. Julia Roberts character is such a woman in love with her man on the run, who just 'doesn't get it' yet. There are a few real catchy parts in the movie that make me laugh. Like in the beginning when she is throwing his clothes & shoes at him from the balcony, he yells that she is 'overreacting' & she yells back that he is 'diminishing her needs'. It correlates with a part towards the end of the movie where James Gandolfini & Roberts are sitting on a sidewalk and he asks her - in regards to relationships, 'when is enough just enough?' She starts expressing her feelings, and he tells her that 'never' is the answer to 'when is enough, enough' in a relationship. This movie just has a great story to it with this pistol that has this historical meaning, and it's just a good flick.
