Did you notice the date today? I like it, like it a lot.......

Happy Cinco de Mayo! I cannot wait to hear the stories about tonight, better be some good ones.....I'm not participating in the festivities because I'm leaving for Atlantic City manana, in the a.m. for the weekend. I'll make up for it there & hope I win some ca$h, wish me luck! I really don't care for gambling, I'll play some slot machines a few times & there is this spa I want to go to. My sidekick Debbie will probably drive, because she has the coolest convertible to flirt in!

I want to share that I did not win the egg game on Easter, but my cousin Sophia did out of like 20 of us...so she will have good luck all year, go Sophia! We had a really nice time at my cousin Eleni's house on Easter Sunday & ate lots of food yum-yum! We had roasted lamb w/garlic, (that was cooked on a spit in the backyard) roasted lemon & garlic potatoes, pastichio (it's like mac n' cheese w/ground beef, but way better...my fave! Eleni brought some pastichio on our flight out to Key West, Florida when we were going to the Caribbean...2 gi-goontic pieces that we scoffed within minutes!) we also had salad, breads, cheeses, spanakopitas & tiropitas (also very yummy, they are spinach & cheese filled filo dough pastries) red wine from the island my family is from, then desserts galore like cookies, pastries, and fruits....I'm still full!

Below are some pictures of the Caribbean Cruise Eleni & I went on in February. We cruised on the Costa Atlantica through the Western Caribbean, went to Cozumel, Mexico, spent the day at the beach then ran the streets; Ochos Rios, Jamaica, hizz-aye & the best 4 last...Grand Cayman, ohh GC....can't wait to go back there! We had a fun time, met some interesting people and keep in contact with a few of them. I'm not a big fan of being out at sea & being on a schedule, but traveling is one of my passions so I'm happy I went. I'm planning my next vaca to Greece this summer, have not been there in 4 years and used to go almost every summer so I need to, have to, want to go.
