She is one of my fave artists....I love all of her songs, from her No Angel & Life for Rent album's. "Sand in My Shoes" from 'Life For Rent' is top shelf, and I wanted to share the video I located on mtv.com with y'all!

When I first watched it I didn't get it & then I got it after I realized the guy she's singing about isn't really there. While she is back home, he's still renting space in her head...

....you gotta love music, it connects us with our feelings, our lives....it's deep, that's all. I just really dig music, and this may come from some mythological story that relates to my real name kalliope. She was a musical muse.......I'll save that for another posting.
