Stronger Than Before

I just bought the new CD by Olivia Newton John. I was in a Hallmark store the other day & heard her singing. I asked one of the gals in the store who was working if it was her & she said it sure was. Then she showed me the display they have of her CD amongst other trinkets for Breast Cancer Awareness month. I got one for me & another for a family friend who recently had laser surgery in her lungs.

I went to see her a couple of weeks ago once she was home from the hospital..I am not the biggest fan of hospitals at all. I brought her a plant, because flowers wither & go in the trash. At least with a plant she can care for it & it will be around longer. I learned to give plants as a gift from her, when my dad was in the hospital a couple of years ago she brought him one. I thought that was such a thoughtful gift, and he still has that plant. Did you know that if you can't take care of a plant you can't take care of yourself? I picked that up from that movie '28 Days' that Sandra Bullock starred in...digressing again.

This CD is so touching & remarkable. It's called 'Stronger Than Before' by Olivia Newton John. I know Eva will enjoy it. She started chemotherapy last week & I called her over the weekend to see how she is doing and she's in a lot of pain. I told her that I'll be visiting her sometime next week. We go way back, when my mom passed away she helped our family out lots, like watching my brother & just being very supportive. She has a great big heart, she is strong and will get through this, right to the road of recovery.
