In Limbo

I've been in limbo these past couple of weeks. I quit my new job that I was at the last 2 months about a week ago because the company is bouncing checks left & right. They also changed my whole compensation package, so not cool. I decided to leave & go on interviews instead of wasting my time in such an unprofessional environment. I went on about 11 interviews last week, I am tired! I have not been on this side of the desk in a long time, it's hectic. I know when you are not working you have to work like 40 hours a week at getting work. This was just bad timing for me, I've only been in my new place 5 weeks. Yet, I am determined to be an independent woman & take on 3-4 jobs if I need to so I don't have to move back home..again.

In my limbo stage right now, I've been on a few weird dates, such as dates wanting to take me to college bars, being asked a zillion times if I want tequila shots, asking if I have fake nails, oh the silliness of it...there is such a difference between men & boys..that is for sure. I had the best date I've had in months this weekend with my ex-boyfriend I was with for 5 years. He took me out for dinner for my b-day & we had a great time. I let him win most of the pool games we played...haha! Had to add that in, he found my blog online, so I made a funny...He also found a nice bachelor pad & says he needs a roommate, ha-ha, he is a comedian that one...we lived together for a couple of years and he's just being goofy. Actually he really could be a comedian, he has a good personality & always makes people laugh. We were laughing about the dates we've been on & there are definitely some funny stories..who would of known we would be laughing about our dating worlds!?!

So, this is me..in limbo over here, hoping my friends & family are doing well in their worlds & me looking for a good job hopefully land a career...let's see what fate has to bring, as my fortune cookie from earlier says, 'Greet the world every morning with curiosity & hope'
